However, some people love our dry hire service for its flexibility and price, as with the dry hire service you set the marquee/s up yourself so you save on delivery and erect costs, and if you need the marquee for multiple events you can dismantle the marquee and move it throughout the hire period.

What a wonderful day we had when we had the pleasure of going to Uxbridge near Heathrow Airport, to set up some marquees for a charity fun run. The fun run was for Cancer Research UK who were hosting the fun run to raise money for cancer awareness. They hired 6 marquees in total which were scattered around the whole field all to be used for different things, like one of the marquees were used for the stage, some were used for fundraising tents and some others used as drinks and snacks tents for people at the event.

Dry Hire in East Yorkshire

There are two different hire services we provide; Normal Hire and Dry Hire. Normal Hire is the service where we will do everything from delivering the marquee, setting everything up where the customer requires and then dismantle it when the event has finished. Dry Hire is the service where the customer will come to the head office to collect all equipment they have hired and then they are responsible for transporting the equipment, setting up everything and dismantling when the dry hire period has finished. For example, this is the equipment a company in East Yorkshire had dry hired for 9 days which they had to collect and return to head office.

What a phenomenal day we had Saturday at MM Hire Head Office where we went to Liverpool for a well known bookies to create an area for an #ILOVEGN Grand National photo booth. The photo booth was placed in the middle of the popular Liverpool city centre to promote the bookies brand.

The I Love Grand National campaign was to promote the well known bookies free bets on the race and other major events coming up in the UK. To Capture the fun and excitement of the Grand National, the bookies had sponsored a photo booth and social media printing station for a few major cities in the UK.

It’s estimated that a quarter of all adults in the UK will be betting on the Grand National on Saturday the 9th April 2016. Betting shops all over the country will have queues of people waiting outside their doors waiting to place a bet on the favourites to win or the horse with the most outrageous name – which are normally good bets considering the unpredictable nature of the race.

The day started off bright and early for us folks here at MM Hire Head Office where we had to deliver the marquee and accessories from the head office here in Nottinghamshire up to Liverpool in Merseyside for 7 am, to give us good time to erect the marquee for the required time. When we first arrived at location we erected the 3m x 3m marquee and attached all the side panels, then after we did that we went around the marquee fitting the hard surface anchorage kit to make sure it was for people to use. Lastly all we had to do was wait for the guys to show up to assemble the photo booth.

Later on in the day we travelled back up to Merseyside after the event had finished to disassemble the marquee and the accessories, which were then loaded into the van to bring back to the office. After we had finished it had become quite late so we decided it would be more beneficial to stay overnight in a hotel as the team were extremely tired from the early start. The next morning we got up nice and early to take all the equipment back to the office so we could get home and enjoy the rest of our weekend.

Welbeck Farm Shop Easter Market Marquee Hire

Wellbeck Farm Shop Easter MarketLast Thursday we went to The Welbeck Farm Shop to erect six 6m x 6m hexagon marquees and two 3m x 2m marquees for an Easter market. The market was a bit like a farmers market where people were selling different things like cheese, beer, home made food, and loads of different things. When we got there the weather was very cloudy but wasn’t too cold. We arrived on site about 10am after we had loaded the van up with the marquees and the equipment needed to erect them. First off we started putting all the 6m x 6m hexagon marquees half way up so we could move them all around until to we got them in the suitable position for the event. After we found the suitable position we put them up fully and started connecting them all together with gutters to stop the rain from getting inside the marquees. Now all that was done, all we had to do was put all the finishing touches to them like all the side panels, the weights to hold the marquee down, and just making sure everything was safe and presentable for the event organisers and the general public. After the main marquees where erect, all we had to do then was just erect the two 3m x 2m marquees, join them together and add the accessories like the side panels and weights to keep them on the ground.

Stamford Post Public House Beer Festival

Stamford Post 3m x 3m 1A few months ago we took an enquiry from The Stamford Post, which is a JD Wetherspoons Public House.  They required one of our 3m x 3m units to help them host a beer festival. The marquee was being set up in a Court Yard, and so needed a Hard Surface kit and plenty of Baseweights.
